Attended Tulane University and Boston Law School. After a sick friend said, "Do what you want to do every moment of the day or else you're not really living," Enrique realized he should fulfill his dream of acting and at 21 he quit law school to fulfill this dream. - Verve

His role as Alejandro in Speed 2 was only one line; however, Enrique stated "I may have had one line, but the back of my ear became famous." The role took 6 months to film.

Enrique has had guest roles on shows like Suddenly Susan, Star Trek: Enterprise, and the Pretender. His role on Star Trek: Enterprise was chosen as one of T'Pol's best episode in there Star Trek Special. The episode is seen as a important key to the Vulcan race. Aside from acting was also executive producer for A Separate Peace, which was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2005.

He is currently filming Without A Trace, a CBS Drama about missing people. His role in Black Hawk Down led him to meet producer Jerry Bruckheimer who create Without a Trace as well as several other smash hits including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as well as its two spin offs. Lately WAT has been canceled. Enrique played Danny Taylor during 7 years. Recently in october 2009, Enrique did guest star in CBS procedural show CSI as Det. Carlos Moreno.

In 2010, Enrique has been cast to be one of the lead character of a Shonda Rimes Pilot "Off The Map". He' ll start the shooting in March/April, in Puerto Rico.
